Boxing Betting Tips Ahead Of A Slow Weekend Of Boxing

With the boxing betting markets being quite limited this weekend, I’ve scraped below the surface to find 4 selections.

My first pick comes on the DAZN show in Newcastle on Saturday night. I believe 13/8 on Solomon Dacres to win on points is an unbelievable value. Ismay is unbeaten and has shown good durability in his career so far. This paired with Dacres lack of punch power makes this very likely to go the distance.

Also on the Newcastle card, Calum French to win on points at 4/6 is good value I believe. Ellison has only been stopped by Adam Azim in recent times, and French has not shown the devastating punch power that is needed to stop the tough journeyman.

Moving stateside for the Golden Boy show on DAZN. My best bet on the week comes in the main event. I believe Ramirez vs Rosado UNDER 7.5 rounds at ⅚ is a ridiculous value. I can’t see Rosado getting through the first 4, let alone 7. Rosado is in his first fight at light heavyweight, and will be significantly smaller than Zurdo as well as every win Ramirez has at 175lbs has come via stoppage.

My outsider of the week is Alex Martin to win on points at 7/2. Martin looked impressive against Michael McKinson and is a naturally bigger man than Oscar Duarte, who hasn’t particularly looked impressive so far in his pro career.

Final Selections:

  • Callum French on point 4/6
  • Sol Dacres on points 13/8
  • Ramirez Rosado UNDER 7.5 ⅚ (best bet)
  • Alex Martin on points 7/2 (outsider)
