BBBofC Circular Highlights: Lawal vs Chamberlain Confirmed, Bentley vs Sheeraz Ordered

March’s BBBofC Circular Has Confirmed A Number Of Fights And Potential Fights

The latest BBBofC circular was released earlier today, with many great fights being ordered by the sports governing body in the UK.

The most intriguing order from the board is the instruction towards British Middleweight champion Denzel Bentley to defend against unbeaten Commonwealth Champion Hamzah Sheeraz, should Bentley get past Kieran Smith next month. The two Queensberry Promotions fighters have been talked about being paired for some time. English champ Tyler Denny has been ordered to face Kieran Conway in an eliminator for the title.

Moving up a weight to Super Middleweight. Mark Heffron must defend his title against Zak Chelli. Chelli is coming off an impressive win over Anthony Sims Jr and will look to add the British Title to his array of belts. 

Isaac Chamberlain will fight British champion Mikael Lawal on a BOXXER card with a date and venue to be advised at cruiserweight. 

Ekow Essuman has been ordered to defend his British and Commonwealth titles against Harry Scarff before the end of August. With purse bids taking place on 12th April. Craig Macintyre will fight Thomas Hill in an eliminator for the title in Glasgow on the 14th of April. 

Dalton Smith will defend his British against Sam Maxwell on a Matchroom show with a date and venue to be advised. NoSmokeSport has confirmed this fight won’t land on April 29 in Sheffield anymore due to Smith’s cut.

Liam Dillon will fight Qais Ashfaq for the vacant Super Featherweight title on a Lee Eaton show, date and venue to be advised. 

Nathaniel Collins will defend his commonwealth Featherweight title against James Beech tomorrow (March 10th) in Glasgow. With the bout also being for the vacant British. 

Liam Davies will defend his British and EBU titles against Jason Cunningham on the 29th of April on a Frank Warren show in Telford

Finally, Ijaz Ahmed will fight Marcel Braithwaite for the vacant British Super Flyweight Title on an Erroll Johnson show in Dudley on the 17th of March
