Former WBO #1 Lyndon Arthur (22-1, 15 KOs) will collide with Argentina’s big-punching Braian Nahuel Suarez (18-1, 17 KOs) in the main event of a Wasserman Boxing promotion this Friday, September 1 at the University of Bolton Stadium, Greater Manchester live and free on Channel 5 and DAZN worldwide.
Arthur-Suarez was supposed to take place in March but was scrapped at the eleventh hour and the Brit faced last-minute replacement Boris Crighton instead.
Suarez is heavy-handed and has just one defeat, a shock opening-round stoppage loss at the hands of the talented southpaw Albert Ramirez.
New Wasserman signing Samuel Antwi and Liverpool’s Mason Cartwright collide in a mouth-watering battle for the vacant British super welterweight title in the co-feature.
Both men have fallen short in very competitive British title fights in the last eighteen months, Cartwright to Troy Williamson and Antwi, earlier this year, against Ekow Essuman.
