WrestleMania 39 Match Card So Far & Predictions
The Showcase of the Immortals Wrestlemania 39 is now just over a month away, and the match card is quickly beginning to take shape, here’s a preview of the matches taking place on it that we know od so far.
Asuka vs Bianca – Bel Air Raw Women’s Title
The first addition to WrestleMania 39 that we are looking at is Asuka returned at the Royal Rumble this year after a hiatus recovering from injury dawning an even more unique look than usual. She put on a quality performance but fell short. She rectified this by winning the No 1 contender Elimination Chamber match in February last eliminating Carmella and punching her ticket to Wrestlemania.
Prediction: This should be an exciting encounter but I see Asuka winning the championship once again.
Charlotte Flair vs Rhea Ripley Smackdown Women’s Title
WrestleMania 39 is looking on fire with this one. Rhea Ripley but on a clinic at the Royal Rumble going bell to bell from entering at No 1 with Liv Morgan to going all the way to win the match last eliminating Liv Morgan punching her spot on the Wrestlemania card. Not only did Rhea win the match but she also picked up the ironwoman and most elimination record.
Predictions: This should also be a good match and I see Rhea winning her first smackdown championship to rectify her loss from WrestleMania 36 where she lost her NXT belt to Charlotte.
Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes Universal Undisputed Championship
For the past 2.5 years, Roman Reigns has been the driving force behind the main event scene, carrying it on his shoulders. By the time WrestleMania 39 rolls around, he will have held the championship belt for an impressive 950 days. The Bloodline storyline has been executed brilliantly, with Paul Heyman delivering exceptional promos that have captivated the audience. While Sami Zayn has provided comedic relief throughout the storyline, at the chamber in Montreal, he had us all believing that he could defeat Reigns for the ultimate prize.
At the Royal Rumble, Cody Rhodes made a triumphant return after a long absence due to a pectoral injury. He entered the rumble at number 30 and went on to win the event, eliminating the ironman Gunther in the final moments.
Predictions: I strongly believe this is where Roman’s story ends. I see Cody getting his Wrestlemania moment here and winning. However expect some hijinks from both Usos, Solo , Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn
Wrestlemania 39 will air over two nights Saturday, Apr 1st and Sunday, Apr 2nd at 12 midnight UK and Ireland time on the WWE Network and Box Office
