The Rock Returns To WWE SmackDown

Finally, The Rock has come back! Yes, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson returned to SmackDown at the start of Fridays show to confront Austin Theory alongside the also returning; Pat McAfee. The Rock and Pat laid out Theory and both hit the Peoples Elbow on Theory.

The Rock Has Comeback To SmackDown

Earlier Friday afternoon, The Rock joined Pat McAfee on his “Pat McAfee Live” show on ESPN. During the show, Pat asked him about the prospect of him wrestling Roman Reigns. Rock then revealed that there was a meeting between himself, Vince McMahon and Nick Khan where they spoke about Rock vs Roman at WrestleMania 39, and there was even a handshake deal to get the match done. For whatever reason, the match didn’t happen. But, Rock said he is open to compete at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.

Though The Rock came back and didn’t interact with The Bloodline on screen, you have to think WWE will jump on any opportunity to have The Rock at WrestleMania 40 if he’s available. So, could we see The Rock vs. Roman Reigns main event next years big show.
