Randy Orton Expected To Return To WWE Soon

WWE Legend Randy Orton has been out with a back injury that hasn’t seen him compete in WWE since May of 2022. The multiple time world champion was questionable if he would ever even return to the ring, but now it seems like he will, and very soon.

Randy Orton WWE Return

In May of 2023,  “Cowboy” Bob Orton, father of Randy, said that he believes doctors have told his son to stop wrestling and call it a career. But, Randy Orton is not sticking with that advice. Randy has still been training and gearing up for a return to the ring. Fightful reported earlier this month that WWE was planning to have Orton back by Survivor Series. Now, Dave Meltzer has confirmed via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Survivor Series is the suggested time frame for Randy’s return to WWE, saying “When asked about Orton returning at Survivor Series, we were told that is the suggested time frame, so likely about a month or so. His doctor did suggest he retire due to back issues but Orton makes a ton of money and really wants to go until he’s 50 if at all possible.”

Randy Orton was last seen in a tag team with Matt Riddle called “RK-Bro”, But Riddle has since been released from the company while Orton was on the shelf. Now, a return to WWE for the 43 year old veteran will likely be in singles action and we could see it as soon as next month at WWE Survivor Series , which takes place from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois on Saturday, November 25th. We will continue to keep you updated on any possible news concerning Randy Orton’s return to the squared circle.
