Opening Round Matches Revealed For GCW NGI 8 Tournament

Game Changer Wrestling presents the 8th annual Nick Gage Invitational Tournament this weekend, Saturday, December 30th in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The event goes down from The Showboat at 5PM ET. If you can’t make it to the event, it’ll air live on FITE TV. The annual DeathMatch Tournament will be filled with 10 competitors vying to get a championship match and being crowned the NGI 8 winner.

GCW NGI 8 Matches Revealed

Previously, GCW announced all 10 competitors for the most violent tournament in America. But now, the first round matches have been revealed. Since the tournament has an odd amount of competitors, We will have four opening matches consisting of two triple threats and two singles matches. The first triple threat consists of all ladies, seeing who’s the NGI Queen as Risa Sera, Masha Slamovich and Emersyn Jayne all go to war. You can see all the opening round matches below.

NGI 8 Opening Round:

  • Risa Sera vs. Masha Slamovich vs. Emersyn Jayne
  • Miedo Extremo vs. Daiju Wakamatsu
  • Jimmy Lloyd vs. Jacob Fatu vs. John Wayne Murdoch
  • Ciclope vs. Violento Jack

The winner of each opening round match will head to the semi-finals, and the eventually the finals to crown the 8th Nick Gage Invitational Tournament winner. The best of the best in the DeathMatch scene will go to war this Saturday in order to be crowned tournament winner. The winner will also receive a GCW World Championship Match the following night against Blake Christian at GCW Aftermath at the Showboat in Atlantic City at 8PM ET. GCW AfterMath will be headlined by a dream match between Nick Gage and Jun Kasai. You can see the full GCW AfterMath card below.
