MJF vs. Samoa Joe Official For AEW GrandSlam 

Tonight on AEW Dynamite, Samoa Joe and Roderick Strong battled to become number one contender for the AEW World Championship and face MJF for the title next Wednesday at AEW GrandSlam in New York City. 

AEW GrandSlam Contenders Match

After a hard fought battle, Samoa Joe picked up the win in the main event and will now get a championship opportunity at AEW GrandSlam inside of Arthur Ashe Stadium. Earlier  in the show, MJF spoke on both competitors and even cut a promo similar to the infamous “Steiner Math” promo on Samoa Joe, and completely dismissed Roderick Strong as a boring nobody. Now, Joe will get the chance to extract revenge and take the title off of MJF in one weeks time. 

Other matches announced for next week include Saraya vs. Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Championship, Jon Moxley vs. Rey Fenix for the AEW International Title and a Champion vs. Champion match with both the ROH World Title and NJPW Strong Openweight  Title on the line between Eddie Kingston and Claudio Castagnoli.
