MJF vs. Kenny Omega Championship Match Set For AEW Collision
MJF vs. Jay White is set for AEW Full Gear in November 18th for the AEW World Title, but MJF may not make it that far. MJF has currently held the title for 340 days. Kenny Omega is the longest reigning Champion at 326 days. MJF is trying to break that record, but Omega is in his way.
AEW Collision Title Match Set
Kenny Omega approached MJF on tonights AEW Dynamite and made a case that he deserves to defend his longest reign record, so, if MJF is a true champion, he will defend the title against Omega for the true right to pass his reign. MJF surprisingly accepted and the match was made for this Saturday on AEW Collision on TNT. Kenny Omega then whispered into MJF’s ear “Three Days, Bitch.” signifying that in three days time, Saturday night, Kenny will once again become AEW Champion.
Kenny Omega lost his title at Full Gear 2021 to Hangman Adam Page. Fast forward a year after, MJF won the AEW Championship at Full Gear 2022 against Jon Moxley and has held the title ever since. With Full Gear coming up next month, MJF is looking to have a historic year plus long reign, but Kenny Omega is standing in his way. This will be the first time MJF and Kenny Omega will get inside of a ring, and a lot of stakes are on the line.
AEW Collision goes down this Saturday night, October 28th at 8PM ET on TNT.
