Matches Announced For 10/27 AEW Rampage
AEW Rampage has some big names promoted for this Friday’s AEW Rampage. Coming off of tonight’s AEW Dynamite, the MJF and Kenny Omega confrontation will bleed into Friday’s show, as well as a contenders match and an anticipated grudge match.
AEW Rampage Matches Revealed
Hikaru Shida just successfully defended her AEW Women’s Championship against Ruby SoHo on Dynamite. Now, she will turn around quickly and defend again on Saturday’s AEW Collision. But, against who? On Friday’s AEW Rampage, Willow Nightingale, Skye Blue, Abadon and Anna Jay will battle in a four-way number one contenders match. The winner will then challenge Champion Hikaru Shida on Saturday.
Plus, former tag team partners Santana and Ortiz have been going back and forth verbally since their return at AEW All In this past summer. Now, finally, the two will scrap in the ring in a highly anticipated grudge match on AEW Rampage. Santana and Ortiz have been a team for a long time throughout their run in IMPACT Wrestling, all the way to their debut in the early years of AEW. Now, some real-life issues have turned them against each other and they’ll finally handle their business on Friday and it’ll be under No Disqualification Rules.
As previously announced, MJF will defend his AEW World Championship against Kenny Omega on AEW Collision this Saturday, after Kenny Omega goaded MJF into the match on tonight’s AEW Dynamite. But, ahead of the match, we will hear from both champion and challenger on AEW Rampage. Will the animosity ramp up ahead of their huge first time collision Saturday night?
