Logan Paul Announces US Title No. 1 Contender Tournament
WWE US Champion, Logan Paul, made an appearance on the December 1 edition of SmackDown. The champion announced a number one contender’s tournament.
WWE US Title No. 1 Contender Tournament
Logan Paul made his first appearance as the WWE US Champion on the December 1 edition of SmackDown. This comes after ‘The Maverick’ defeated Rey Mysterio for the title at Crown Jewel in early November.
Paul announced that there would be a tournament to determine the number one contender for his US Championship. The tournament is set to get started on Friday, December 8, when SmackDown emanates from the Amica Mutual Pavillion in Providence, Rhode Island.
Seven of the superstars in the tournament are signed to SmackDown but Paul also confirmed that the eighth spot would be filled by an NXT superstar who is yet to be confirmed.
Two match-ups have been confirmed for the December 8 SmackDown, thus kicking off the tournament. Dragon Lee will go up against Santos Escobar in one match whilst Bobby Lashley and Karrion Kross are set to clash in the second match.
