Heath Is Now A Free Agent, Has Left IMPACT Wrestling
Heath, formerly Heath Slater, has left IMPACT Wrestling and is now a free agent. The former IMPACT Wrestling and WWE star is now taking bookings for independent wrestling.
Heath Becomes A Free Agent
Fightful Select first reported that IMPACT Wrestling star Heath has become a free agent after finishing up with the company. He joined IMPACT Wrestling after being released by WWE in early 2020. Early on, Heath sadly sustained an injury with IMPACT Wrestling that kept him on the shelf for quite sometime. But, he returned to the company and had a bit of a singles run, as well as teaming with Rhino, just as ge did in WWE. Heath was a former WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion with Rhino, as well as a team with his stable mates The Nexus earlier on in his career after being on the gameshow version of NXT.
Following the news, he took to X and simply quoted tweeted a rockstar hand gesture emoji over the initial report that he is a free agent. Unlike WWE, there’s no 90 day clause that don’t allow Heath to explore other options immediately, so, he can be booked as soon as possible. We’re sure his schedule will be filled up for the rest of 2023.
