WWE’s Baron Corbin Wins Jiu Jitsu World League Gold Medal

Baron Corbin is not only a former golden gloves boxer, not only a WWE superstar, but now he has a Jiu Jitsu gold metal after this weekend’s Jiu Jitsu World League on December 2nd.

Baron Corbin Wins Gold

Baron Corbin competed in the Jiu Jitsu World League in the Gi Adult Masters division. He submitted Brandon Gully and Colin Miller to win gold. Corbin is an avid trainee at Rudos BJJ in Florida. Corbin continues to rise up in the sports ranks as he started as a two-time Golden Gloves regional amateur boxer. He then went to Football where he was a defensive guard in college before heading to the NFL.

Following his NFL stint, he ended up in WWE where he’s been a former United States Champion and Mr. Money In The Bank. Now, Corbin is looking to win the NXT Championship when he challenges Ilja Dragunov for the Championship at NXT Deadline. But first, he’s preparing by winning gold in Jiu Jitsu tournaments.
