Starting off in the UK, Lawrence Okolie will defend his WBO world cruiserweight title against David Light. Light shouldn’t provide Okolie with too much of a challenge, and I believe the Brit will stop his mandatory challenger early. Okolie in rounds 1-4 at 4/1 seems great value.

Also on the card, Frazer Clarke faces Bogdan Dinu. Clarke has a tendency to start very slow, and I believe the price of 11/10 on over 2.5 rounds is a great price.

Moving over to the Queensberry show in Telford, I have my outsider bet for the week. I believe Miguel Gonzalez to win on points at 13/2 is great value. Jason Cunningham is coming off a devastating KO loss against Zolani Tete and is coming toward the end of his career. Gonzalez has only lost to opponents levels above Cunningham.

Also on the card Moses Itauma makes his 2nd professional outing. Itauma is obviously an exceptional talent and is not being matched particularly hard at 18 years old. I believe he will stop his opponent in the 1st at odds of 4/6.

My best bet for the week is Andrew Cain to win on points at 13/5. Baluta has proved to be a tough challenge and has been extremely tough throughout his career. Taking Liam Davies, and Michael Conlan the distance. Cain has shown punch power, however, this was at a much lower level.

Moving stateside, I believe a good bet is Benavidez vs Plant to go the distance at 13/8. Both men have shown durability, and I believe the contest will be very cagey throughout. With the focus being on defense rather than offense. It took Canelo Alvarez eleven rounds to stop Plant with the fight being very close until then.
